Our current big project, 5 rai (2 acres) building a singly luxury villa that is 6- to 95 meters right above Surin Breach in Phuket looking due west into the sunset over the Andaman Sea! ESP is he water contractor; 12 meter waterfall, river, Koi ponds, decorative ponds, 2 swimming pools (chlorine free), hot water and water chillers for the showers (10 degrees Celsius available in the showers), and a whole lot more!

While at the Patong Hospital volunteering taking photos of the victims bodies for identification purposes, ESP's Brad Kenny got a call from the Governor's office asking if Rotary could make some boxes to hold bodies of the growing number of bodies on a temporary bases. The typical Thai caskets available were not big enough for many of the foreigners that perished and due to the tropical conditions, these bodies bloated even bigger. So bodies were measured and we came up with a one size fits all box and stated a production line in front of the ESP office on the main road in Phuket town.

My workers put up a sign in Thai that said basically "We do what we have to do" and people started to stop and see what we were doing and giving donations, I remember one man, very poor on a trike motorcycle that regularly picked out garbage cans for recyclables, helped for an hour or so and then gave us 30 Baht (1 US $) in change, all he had in his pocket. Other stopped by and gave 100, 500, 1,000 Baht and still other came in pick up trucks and then filled them and delivered then to Khao Lak and other locations.

Our "boxes" then were seen around the world in photos of various Andaman Coastal locations, We finished the project after 290 caskets were made and on January 11th.

In the days following the December 26th 2004 Asian Tsunami the ESP office turned into a convenient depot for aid to victims and a make shift box (casket) factory.
