Just a quick note about travelling onwards to Koh Lipe from Bangkok’s airports—especially if you’re arriving on an international flight. Based purely on personal experience, I always prefer flying into and out of BKK rather than DMK. In my experience, immigration and queues are consistently worse at DMK. So if you are tempted by a slightly cheaper flight I wouldn't 😁 but again this is just my experience after flying in and out of both for over 20 plus years!
