Finished our summer holidays with a last minute trip back to Rhodes as the kids were desperate to swim in the sea here again!!
Stayed at the fabulous Finas Hotel & Apartments for a second time and enjoyed a week of sunshine, pool, boat trips and food!!!
Now its time for back to reality and school and work!

Will update more of our trip over the coming weeks.

Not a usually travel post but I want to get this shared wide to show how the RAC treat customers and how they have left me. They dont stick to any of their values that are advertised on their website:

" The RAC's core values for customers center around providing reliable breakdown assistance, excellent service, and peace of mind. They emphasize trust, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to continuous improvement in their services. This includes being there when needed, offering fair value, and providing a range of driving-related products and services. "

I broke down over a week ago, RAC came out quickly and stated that a fuel injector was gone on my car and advised me to drive home with him following and he would book me a repair. They came on the Wednesday, replaced the fuel injector and I thought id take the car out to check it before my commute the following morning. I broke down again, RAC came out again and he was shocked that it had been cleared and that I had broke down again, they thought the wrong injector had been replaced, but the RAC man was disgusted that i had been left in such an unsafe position. I got towed home and had to wait until Friday for a mechanic again. Friday came and the mechanic stated that the fuel injector was misdiagnosed and it wasn't that at all, but the turbo which had now flooded everything and needed repairing, despite paying over £800 for the car to be repaired 2 days before. I got told I should never have been made to drive it home!

I got told I would recieve a call from a manager as it was their fault as it was misdiagnosis, im still awaiting this call, 7 days later. I've rang several times, get pushed from pillar to post. I've explained my car is my work due to working in the community within the NHS, yet they don't care. I asked to speak to a manager and got told no managers were working!!! So now im over £800 down with a car that is worse off than when I first broke down and getting no where with the RAC. I have a car that can't be moved sat on my drive, with no idea what it's going to cost, on top of the money ive already paid for the repair that didnt even need doing!!!

Back from our lovely holiday, if not a little chilly, in Turkey.

So it was a bit different for us, a 5* all inclusive holiday at Liberty Signa . I booked 4 weeks before departure and paid £1900 for us all, all inclusive. The same holiday for next Easter is over £6000!!!!!!!

It was a beautiful hotel, waterside, heated pools, and the food was amazing. A lot of sit down options instead of the usual buffet style, but even in the buffet they make the food in front of you!!!

There wasn't loads for these guys, luckily they entertain themselves. The kids club for little ones was fantastic and the adults only sections were beautiful.

So am I converted to all inclusive? Now in a way yes, but would I pay the usual prices that these hotels charge? No i wouldn't, and even the kids said they missed going out on little adventures to find new places to try the chicken nuggets and pasta 🤣

Easter holidays are fast approaching (i know some have already broke up!)
And we are finally making our first trip abroad as a 4 since Rhodes 2023!!!!

I'm hoping the sun is shining (it currently isn't where we are going!)

Who has holiday plans this Easter? We are doing something totally different for us (all inclusive!) But I'm already starting to track for a summer holiday, which won't be a package as the prices are crazy in August! Maybe a road trip!

I didn't know what to expect, but wow, Romania was beautiful, I highly recommend, the mountains were just stunning.
If you can get cheap flights then do it!
Flights £50 return
Air bnb £126 for 3 nights (this was each for 3 people)
Ubers really cheap from £3-£10 a trip
Transylvania trip full day trip £10
Therme spa £25 for full day

Not school holidays, and you need to book your own activities but quite a few bargains on crystal ski currently for Lapland this December. I'll keep tracking to see if the school holidays drop too!!!!
This price includes flights, accommodation and transfers for a week!
Its definitely on our list to do again ☃️

Another fabulous weekend camping.
We headed to The Old Dairy Farm Caravan and Camping in Oxfordshire. A fabulous site with animals, showers, toilets, a park, food, shop which was well priced too!
There were lots of bits close by if you wanted to venture, we only ventured to the open air swimming pool for a swim as the children were happy playing football, on the park and looking at the animals.
Probably last camping trip for this year, totally ready for my bed as I just cannot sleep in a tent 🤣
