The world longest suspension bridge is in Turkey. The name of 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is driven from Galipoli battle of World War I in which Turks defeated Australian and Newzealand armies that came to help British allied forces.
Although Ottoman and Germany lost the war against allied forces but winning the Galipoli battle paved the foundation of modern Turkey.
Today, passing through this area reminds of sacrifice made by those involved in wars. The important point is to say NO to wars but if it is inevitable then be on the right side (the one who is oppressed).

بہت سے کام رہتے ہیں، تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

کھلونوں والی عُمروں میں اِنہیں ہم موت کیوں بانٹیں ؟
بڑے معصوم بچے ہیں، تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

پڑوسی یار ! جانے دو، ہنسو اور مسکرانے دو
مسلسل اشک بہتے ہیں تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

بھلا اقبال و غالب کا کہاں بٹوارہ ممکن ہے ؟
کہ یہ سانجھے اثاثے ہیں، تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

اگر نفرت ضروری ہے تو سرحد پر اکٹھے کیوں ؟
پرندے دانہ چُگتے ہیں، تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

چلو مل کر لڑیں ہم تُم جہالت اور غربت سے
بہت سپنے اُدھورے ہیں تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

سنبھالیں اُن کو مل جُل کر سکھائیں فن محبت کا
بہت جوشیلے لڑکے ہیں تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی

اِدھر لاہور اُدھر دِلّی، کہاں جائیں گے ہم فارس
یہی دو چار قصبے ہیں تمہارے بھی ہمارے بھی
