The shooting range was fun.

But the real surprise at the dude ranch was how much time we had to just talk & be together.

Ebikes through the desert, line dancing at night, campfire under the stars. Plus 3 amazing meals served to us each day.
White Stallion Ranch gave us a long weekend that felt like dating again.

Which activity would you be most excited to try?

Yes, I will see food on Instagram and then track it down on vacation. Who’s with me? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Picture this: pouring rain, most of the city is closed because it’s Sunday, and I’m asking our bike tour guide to make a stop off of the itinerary. Not for a landmark. For a cinnamon bun the size of my head.

We split it with friends and still couldn’t finish it. 10/10 recommend.

📍 Cafe Husaren, Gothenburg, Sweden

Visiting Copenhagen? Skip the city for a day & E-bike through the Danish countryside to giant sculptures hiding in the woods.
We joined a bike tour and thought it was a fun way to get out of the city, enjoy the countryside & get to see this giants!
🌲🪻🚴🏻‍♀️

Good to know about the bike tour:
⭐️ 25 mile ride, 4 stops. Come ready to pedal.
⭐️ See four giants created by famous artist Thomas Dambo.
⭐️ Bring water and snacks & eat a hearty breakfast before the ride.
⭐️ Wear a hat & sunscreen.
⭐️ Trails and roads are easy, no technical riding.
⭐️ Our guide Tamas led the way the whole time.
⭐️ Come reasonably fit, this one’s active.
⭐️ We took a 20 minute Uber ride from the city center to the ebike meeting point.

Comment GIANTS and I’ll send you the exact tour link!

Heading to London soon?

Here’s where you need to go to get a great picture with you + Big Ben.

Technically, Big Ben is the name of the great bell inside Elizabeth Tower, not the building or the tower itself.  But either way, it makes a great photo backdrop.

Add in the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye and it’s the trifecta of London photo spots.

Exit the Westminster Underground Station, turn right. Turn left on St. Margaret Street and look for the little median area. Place your phone on the street crossing sign and use your timer to snap a pic. Of course, you can ask someone to take it for you but I’d rather set up the frame just how I like it.

I recommend going about 30 minutes before sunset to catch golden light.

This is Boulders Beach in South Africa and it was one of the best surprises of our trip! I honestly hadn’t done much research so when we stopped here on our all day peninsula tour from Cape Town, this was a perfect surprise!

Comment PENGUIN to get a link to the Private Cape Town tour I recommend. 🐧

No receipt. No tag. Just some pointing and numbers scribbled on paper.

Renaldo made this bag by hand in a tiny leather shop in Cusco. It’s still one of my favorite things I own, and I use it almost every week.

What’s the best souvenir you’ve ever brought home?

Heading to Cusco, Peru? Be sure to save this and stop by Renaldo’s shop: Calle San Agustín 307

Ward and I each packed in our new expandable carry-ons + packing cubes from Quince for our two week trip around Europe.

So far, these are a few of our favorite things about these suitcases:

They glide perfectly
The lock code was so easy to reset
The colors are beautiful
They hold so much!
The compression zippers close easily

Are you team carry-on or do you prefer to check a bag?

We are team carry-on only whenever possible and we love how these suitcases make that so easy for us.
