A VIP Day Trip from Istanbul to Bursa
Early Morning Departure: Beating the Traffic
To avoid Istanbul’s traffic, we start our journey at 7 AM, picking up guests from central hotels in Taksim, Sultanahmet, and Beşiktaş. This early start allows us to cross the Bosphorus Bridge quickly while enjoying the scenic views as we move to the Anatolian side.
Ferry Ride to Yalova: A Relaxing Journey on the Sea
We drive to the Eskihisar ferry terminal in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. On the ferry ride to Yalova, guests can enjoy the sea breeze and maybe feed the seagulls. This is a relaxing break before we continue our journey to Bursa.
Arrival in Bursa and a Short Stop at Munira for Local Shopping
Before reaching Bursa city center, we stop at Munira, a traditional shopping spot where guests can buy local delicacies like chestnut candy, Turkish delight, and other souvenirs.
Breakfast and Historic Atmosphere in Cumalıkızık
In the historic village of Cumalıkızık, we offer about an hour of free time for breakfast and exploration. Guests can wander among the Ottoman-era houses and capture beautiful photos.
Uludağ Cable Car and Yeşil Türbe Visit
Next, we take the cable car up to the slopes of Uludağ for a scenic ride and then visit the Yeşil Mosque and Yeşil Tomb, where guests can explore the historical site and nearby marketplace.
Ulu Camii and Grand Bazaar: Leisure Time
We provide around two hours of free time around the Ulu Camii and the surrounding Grand Bazaar area. Guests can shop, dine, and experience the local culture before we head back.
Return Journey: Optional Shortcut via Osman Gazi Bridge
On the return trip, to avoid evening ferry queues and save time, we offer an option to cross the Osman Gazi Bridge for an additional 30 Euros per vehicle. This significantly speeds up the return to Istanbul, ensuring a quicker and more comfortable end to the day.
