帽子的分工,如同自行車”零組件”,布歸布、帽沿歸帽沿的廠商,裁片—壓板—印刷—車縫—在印刷—整燙定型,都不是同一家廠商。
國旗帽的印製過程,眼尖的行家都知道,這樣的分色印刷與縫製其難度相當高,尤其是國旗帽的製程良率不到60%因為在第一次印刷後就必須上一層透明漆,等乾了之後在上立體發泡印刷。等完成後還要上一層亮油,定型,上亮油的過程還要配合天氣的溼度

,風速,陽光等,過程十分繁雜。
本次布帽,陰錯陽差,在設計稿確認之餘,水洗棒球帽在製帽界來說是少見的。因為整頂帽子需要完全成形之後,下去水洗(微酸洗),一般來說,這樣製程是會傷害帽子本身的繡線(金或銀線的部分),這次是少見的大量金銀蔥,嘗試了在烏日、大里、太平奔波,終於找到一種酵素,可以強化金銀繡線的耐酸洗,把良率自60%提升到95%。
在最後車縫的過程,南屯的大墩路上,隱身在巷內的縫線工廠。三個阿姨與三台車縫機,在下午五點的時刻,三個阿姨被一群二三十人著急寫在臉上,因為這家在台中已經製帽40多年,主要以車縫與整燙定型為主。經詢問之下幾乎是南北二路的人來此等待打版的帽子。來的人都是建立信任與情分,信任專業與長年下來的默契。其第二代也已經是台灣嘻哈帽的製造翹楚。在不景氣中的景氣,只要努力就會被看見。

這次商品開發,與合作的供應商彼此學習了好多觀念,更交換更多的市場情報,再來真的是看銷售了。這次定價比以往高了,不是因為物價調漲,而是強調好的商品,應有的價值。必須的嘗試。
