My ancestors, the Datooga, lived on this land as pastoralists, moving with it, not against it. Sharing space with wildlife, understanding its rhythm, respecting its presence.
They didnโt call it conservation. It was a way of life. That way of life shaped how I see the wild today. I didnโt learn wildlife from a distance, I grew into it.
Now, the path looks different. Through guiding, photography, and conservation, I continue that same relationship with the land.
Different era. Same responsibility. And itโs one I carry with purpose.
