Busanga Plains isn’t exactly the first place that comes to mind when you think of top-notch leopard sightings… but wow, did this leopardess deliver! 🐆🔥 We got word of one of the resident female leopards in the southern sector of the plains. She had been spotted on a small island and had tucked herself away beautifully in a dense Mopane thicket. So, we waited. And with a little patience, she finally emerged, stepping out of the thicket and onto a beautiful open clearing. What followed was one of those incredibly special sightings — a long, slow walk through the open grass, giving us some unforgettable views of this magnificent cat

Spent an evening on foot following a tower of giraffes 🦒 in the Sabi Sand. They kept their distance but never let us out of their sight, always poking a head above a tree or around a bush to see what we were up to.

Heart-wrenching to watch, but crucial for their survival. These two young cheetahs were learning one of the most important skills they will ever need: how to hunt. Their mother had caught a young antelope and, rather than killing it immediately, gave her cubs the opportunity to practise. What followed was difficult to witness, the cries of the antelope, the desperate attempts to escape, and the knowledge that there was almost no chance it would get away.
