1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Gateway to the Circuit
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your Touchstone Tanzania ambassador guide will meet you with a private 4x4 vehicle. Transfer to your premium lodge in Arusha to unwind, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy an evening briefing on the week ahead.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Land of Giants & Baobabs
Depart Arusha after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. July is prime time for Tarangire, as the Tarangire River becomes the only reliable water source for miles. You will witness massive elephant herds gathering along the riverbanks, framed by iconic, ancient baobab trees. Keep your eyes open for tree-climbing lions and leopards resting in the branches.

3. Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti via Ngorongoro

You will witness columns of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras stretching to the horizon, closely shadowed by predators.

Following a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha for your evening outbound flight or onward travel.
