The legendary βking of the Serengetiβ lion Bob Junior has been killed by his rivals.
As one of the most photogenic big cats in the national park, Bob had built up a fearsome reputation among his rivals having ruled for seven years with his brother.
The famous Tanzanian lion who lived in the Serengeti Park, 'Bob Junior' has been killed after being attacked by a group of three lions who had a long-term goal of overthrowing his rule.
The three lions who once tried to establish a kingdom were raised by 'Bob Junior' since they were small but attempts to make a coup several times to overthrow the rule of Bob Junior were not successful and instead they were chased to those areas, located in the east of the Serengeti reserve.
Lion 'Bob Junior' helping his brother, Joel ruled for more than five years and being among the lions who ruled for the longest period before the revolution.
Bob Junior was killed on March 11, attacked by three lions who were part of a group of seven lions who were planning a revolution.
Normally we cannot interfere in the lives of wild animals... so what happened was planned among them if it was a revolutionary war and lions tend to have that behavior where when the ruler gets old he is forcibly removed.
Bob Junior' also had unique characteristics such as having more fur than other lions but attractive in appearance and calm when being photographed.
tourism stakeholders are saddened by the death of the lion, citing him as the best and calmest lion ever seen in the Serengeti reserve.
Authorities are closely monitoring Bob Junior's brother, Joel, who was allegedly killed in an attack by the lion's accomplices that killed Bob Junior.
"We are still looking for Joel, he was part of the lions who were wanted by the group that was hunting the castle...
According to various reports, Tanzania is the country with the largest number of lions than any other country in Africa.
it is estimated to have 15,000 lions while the Serengeti reserve alone has about 3,000 lions.
