3-Day Materuni Waterfalls, Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari

You'll embark on an unforgettable 3-day safari adventure where youβll encounter the legendary Big Five and a variety of captivating wildlife. Day 1: Arusha/JRO - Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Farms Tour
Transfer Arusha β Materuni Waterfalls: 1.5 hours
You will be picked up from the airport by our driver, who will drive you to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, you will register at the village office, and your trip can begin. First, you will visit the Materuni waterfalls, which are around a 40-minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, village life, and explain the surrounding flora and fauna. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so donβt forget your swimwear!
After having enjoyed the scenery, you'll slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where a coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Transfer Arusha β Tarangire: 2 hours
Our Safari guide from our office will pick you up from the Airport or hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for the game drive for wildlife sighting while carrying lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the lodge, where you'll stop for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This βriver of warthogsβ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the park.
Activities of the day: Game drives.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/JRO
Transfer Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha: 3 hours
You'll get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and then depart for Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife sighting while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is done, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where our service ends.
This park appears to be a lost world when you first arrive at Ngorongoro Crater. The journey into the Crater is an adventure in and of itself. Once you arrive at the bottom, you'll soon be surrounded by over 500 different kinds of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands
