The Marangu Route is considered one of the easier routes up Kilimanjaro, making it a popular choice for trekkers.

The trailhead is easily accessible, and the route is relatively well-maintained. The Marangu Route is often referred to as the "Coca-Cola Route" due to the availability of Coca-Cola at the huts along the route.

I've got these pictures sent to me from a previous safari guest that did a 12 days safari including Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar 🌴

This was their itinerary: 👇🏾

Day 1: arrival Kilimanjaro Airport

Day 2: Town Tour in Arusha. I took them around personally to visit markets, both handcrafts and fruit/food, and eat at local Restaurants.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Tarangire & Ngorongoro

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Day 6-7: Serengeti Nationalpark. Option of Hot Air Baloon

Day 8: Serengeti game drive and then fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar

Day 9: Zanzibar. Visiting Prison Island and Nakupenda.

Day 10: Stone Town tour. Dinner at a local food market

Day 11: Relax on the beach

Day 12: departure to fly back home.

💧WHY YOU SHOULD TRAVEL DURING RAIN SEASON💧

Many people wish to avoid going on safari during the rain season months, but the truth this season can actually be very beneficial to travel during. Here's why!

🦁 It will be fewer people in the park, which will make the experience feel even more exclusive.

💸 Park fees & accommodation rates are low during low season and will therefore give you as a traveller and advantage of lower rates.

🦏 Some animals even enjoy the rain (rhinos might enjoy themselves in the mud).

✈️ International travel is usually cheaper during the low season months.

🦜Depending on your specific interests, rain season can actually be the best time for you to book your safari. Ngorongoro conservation area, for example, is the best time to visit during November-May when the rains might come if you are into bird watching.
