The chase began when a pride of lions targeted a vulnerable baby zebra. What followed was a remarkable display of maternal courage.

The mother zebra refused to abandon her young. She confronted the danger, stayed close to her baby, and did everything she could to keep the lions from reaching it. Her determination eventually gave the foal the opportunity it needed to escape.

For a mother in the wild, there is no greater priority than protecting her young. 🦓
