🔺One of our FAM trips will be introducing our buyers to a hands-on workshop involving wood carving & banana leaf making at Kanga Project.

This initiative, founded by photographer Muna Ally Photography, initially gifted women in Zanzibar with a kanga – a colourful, rectangular piece of cotton cloth used in East Africa, either wrapped as a skirt or worn on the head. The kanga holds cultural significance as a form of expression, often featuring Swahili proverbs or messages. The project has since grown to empower locals through craftsmanship.
