As you move from Dar es salaam to Saadani National Park, you will be passing a middle route at Mandela village, Miono, Mkange and finally Mvave main entrance gate, over there you will travel 50 kilometers from high way. After checking in you will go directly to the park reservations office around 18 kilometers then after getting a permit we will start a game drive. Saadani National Park is the only park where a bush meets with Indian Ocean, inside the park there is some villager's settled, and also inside the park there long Wami River which mouthed Southern of the Park. This route we use normally is shortest route passing Makurunge village faced with challenge according to November rainfall. If there is clear will passing this route because it take only 2 hours 30 minutes to arrive in Gama gate. A distance is 130 kilometers from city center but if we passing Mandela village we will take 4 hours arrive because it's long way.
Presence of Wami River it gives this park a credit to be one of the Park which have Second Largest Mangrove forest in East Africa after Rufiji River which considered is the Largest Mangrove Forests in East Africa. Within a River chance to see Hippos and Crocs is high, also either by boat or by using binoculars during a low tide.
Savannah Grassland and bushes plus small number of open areas, will gives you very good sightseeing, where there Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Baboon, Waterbuck, Hartebeest, Girrafe, and other animals to mention gathering while they grazing grasses. During a sunset chance to spot Lions hunting these animals is high even before sunrise.
Elephant herds you can spot during an evening because most of them they spend a day inside the Zaraninge Forest or Kwa Msisi Game Reserves.

Note : Any last minute trip cancellation charge fee will be 100% without any discount and if notified on board 3 days before 40% cancellation fee will be applied. Expenses used and all reservations cost will not be funded.
Tipping policy :
we recommended $15 per day as a Tipping for a guide or crew in order to maximise an allowance.
