Many climbers believe the hardest day on Mount Kilimanjaro is the night at the summit, but the trek from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut is a challenge in itself.

This stage takes you through the famous Alpine desert 🏜 known as "The Saddle", a vast and barren landscape that stretches between Mawenzi Peak and Kibo Peak. There are no forests, no rivers, and no place to shelter from the sun or wind. The ordeal seems endless, and each step feels slower as the altitude increases.

Most climbers arrive at Kibo Hut exhausted, dusty, muddy and mentally drained. But this is when determination is most important. After a short rest and an early dinner, you prepare for the final push to Uhuru Peak - the Roof of Africa. 🌍.

The route from Horombo to Kibo teaches an important lesson 👏: Kilimanjaro success is not about speed, it's about patience, perseverance, and confidence step by step.
