Today, a majority of the guide team completed an intensive First Aid Refresher Course in preparation for the busy summer peak season ahead. From altitude sickness response and emergency evacuation procedures to CPR and wilderness first aid, our guides continue sharpening the skills that matter most when leading trekkers on Africa’s highest mountain.
On Kilimanjaro, first aid knowledge is not just an added skill — it is an essential part of responsible mountain guiding. Rapid weather changes, altitude challenges, and remote conditions make preparedness critical for every expedition.
