Day 1
Dar es Salaam to Uluguru Waterfalls
On this day, you will be picked up by our transfer driver from your hotel or the ferry terminal and taken to the Dar es Salaam train station, where you will board the train for a scenic journey to Morogoro City. Upon arrival, your guide-driver will warmly welcome you and take you straight to the Uluguru Mountains. There, you will enjoy a guided hike through lush nature trails, vibrant local farming landscapes, and refreshing mountain air with the help of a knowledgeable local mountain guide. After the hike, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2
Morogoro to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, set off on an early morning drive to Mikumi National Park. Once entrance permits are secured, begin your full-day game drive through the park. Enjoy the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions and more. Midday, stop for lunch at Mikumi Cottage, located within the park, followed by a short rest. The adventure continues with afternoon game drives, ending with a spectacular sunset over the savannah.

Day 3
Maasai Village Visit and Return Train to Dar es Salaam
After an early breakfast, your professional driver will take you to a traditional Maasai boma, where you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the Maasai people's rich culture, traditions and way of life. After the visit, you will return to Morogoro and head to Jakaya Station to board the train back to Dar es Salaam.

Day 1
Scenic Train Ride To Mikumi & Cultural Activities
Train journey to Mikumi.
Your adventure begins with a scenic train ride from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi, offering stunning views of Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a short rest. In the evening, you will visit a Maasai boma to learn about the culture and traditions of the Maasai community. Then, your driver will drive you back to the hotel for dinner and overnight, preparing for an action-packed safari ahead in Mikumi National Park. You may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and other wildlife there as the sun sets over the savannah.
Day 2
Full-Day Game Driving
Wake up early for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, known as a mini Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. As the sun rises, explore the vast savannahs and woodlands. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras, and giraffes. Visit the Mkata floodplain, a prime game-viewing area often compared to the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, continue exploring, capturing unforgettable moments before returning to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 3
Transfer to Udzungwa Mountains & Hike to Sanje Waterfalls
After breakfast, depart from Mikumi and enjoy a scenic drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting hike to the stunning Sanje Waterfalls, one of the park’s most iconic attractions. As you ascend through the lush rainforest, encounter unique wildlife, including endemic primates and diverse bird species. At the top, marvel at the breathtaking views and refreshing cascades of the waterfalls. After a picnic lunch and relaxation, return and transfer to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
The next day, you will board a train back to Dar es Salaam.
