“What travel insurance do I need?”

Kilimanjaro reaches 5,895m (19,341ft), so your normal travel insurance may not automatically cover high-altitude trekking or mountain rescue.

Before your climb, make sure your policy covers high-altitude trekking, emergency medical treatment and medical evacuation, ideally for activities up to at least 6,000m (20,000ft).
