Where do I even start this review, so many positive things to mention! We booked our 4 days safari and 7 days Machame trek with Glady’s for september 2025. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tasneem was very quick and helpful in answering our questions via emails. When we landed at Kilimanjaro airport, our Glady’s driver was waiting for us to take us to our hotel. The day after, we began our 4 days safari with Kepha, a very experienced safari guide. Lodging was great, the food exceeded our expectations. The experience was overall amazing.
After our safari, we stayed two days at the hotel to prepare for the Kilimanjaro climb. The briefing was very helpful, and our guides came directly to our hotel to make sure qe had everything for the climb. Don’t worry, if you are missing something, from equipment to clothing, you can rent pretty much everything.
As for the climb, everything was so well organized. The crew was so supportive and kind. The food made by our cook (mama) was honestly delicious and we were impressed by the diversity and quality of the meals, considering the environment! Mama even baked a cake for my birthday, wich was such a nice touch and made everything so special. Our guides made sure we were healthy and acclimated to the altitude, taking our vital signs two times a day. It is also important to mention that every member of the crew was well dressed, wich was not the case for all the companies we saw on the climb. If that’s something important to you, do not hesitate to book with Glady’s !
Overall, I have to say it was a 5 stars experience from start to finish !!
