Do it in a more relaxed way during a boat lunch or boat sundowner while the animals surround you! Or go hiking at pristine Lake Mungere to spot some stunning birds.

Our activities are also suitable for large groups! We specialize in this and can offer an authentic experience even for very large groups. These friends did a mountain biking WMA tour and ended with a delicious home made pizza lunch.

As we said before, we always like to develop new activities, so we continued! During our farm-to-table tour, you wander through the many different plantations in the green heart of Mto wa Mbu while you learn all about the local farming practices and different crops. You will see how corn and rice are processed in special milling machines and visit a local brewery to learn how banana beer is made. We will also pass different animal farms where you can see cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens.

If you are curious about the taste of all those locally grown crops, vegetables, and fruits, you can add a special farm lunch to your tour. Our local chefs designed a delicious 3-course lunch, including many fresh ingredients that come directly from the farms that you visited during the tour.

Mto wa Mbu is more than just a nice village to pass by in between safaris. It is the perfect place to take a real break from the Land Cruiser and explore the culture and nature of Tanzania. We offer plenty of unique and authentic activities where you can get to know this country in a different way. This group of friends, for example, combined 3 days of activities with MTOurs. On the first day they had a Maasai stay and celebration at Baraka Village, and on the second and third days they explored Mto wa Mbu during a bajaj tour and mountain biking in the WMA area. Our local chefs prepared a delicious lunch of bananas and a local lunch during these days. Rain season didn't spoil the fun!

A Maasai celebration is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the Maasai culture and get to know more about their rich heritage and traditions.
