Kilimanjaro’s Seven Climbing Routes
Before climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, it’s important to know that there are seven main routes to choose from, each offering a different experience. The best route for you depends on your fitness, hiking experience, and the kind of scenery you’re looking for. If you’re a beginner or prefer a more comfortable climb, the Marangu route is the easiest and includes hut accommodations, taking around five to six days. If you’re more adventurous and want to enjoy the most scenic views, the Machame route is a great choice. It’s more challenging but offers better acclimatization and higher chances of reaching the summit.
