s and our favorite inspirational quotes just over three year ago (Some posts are back dated to recognize our departure from my 11 to 7 structural engineering job). It’s been a lot of fun!! We’ve had to learn about WordPress, Tumblr, Twitter, tags, time management (We thought We dealt with it, We joined Facebook but there are just so many pretty pictures and kind words here!!)… ;-)
We’ve created Single Man Travel! in hope to share our love of traveling to everyone; especially to the Men out there who have always wanted to travel but have stalled for one reason or another. We’ve been there too… “We’ll wait for our friends to save up enough money”, “We’ll wait for our Girlfriends to get time off work”, “We have to save up”, “We are scared because We don’t speak the local language”, “We don’t know anyone there”… so many excuses, so many fears…
Well when our 10 year relationship ended in 2005 and after spending about 10 months picking up pieces of our heart, We got on an airplane by ourself, flew to Selous and got ourself a short stay in Serena Luxury Camps. After that, We’ve been to an additional 50 countries on our own and meeting lots of people along the way. Within this time, We’ve learned a lot about ourself and there’s been plenty of surprises and adventures along the way. We hope through our page, you will build up your courage and be motivated to go see this great world of ours, through your own eyes. Touch those monuments and sculptures, walk into all those gorgeous buildings you’ve seen in photos, on the TV or your computer screen – step out of your comfort zone.
