Among of oldest building in Stone Town, Zanzibar island has fallen in 25 December, 2020. It was Barghash said bin sultan house and home since 1883. The building carry the history of Oman Sultanate in Zanzibar. The effort of its renovation has been reported since 2012, and the government of Oman in collaboration with Revolutionary government of Zanzibar take the task to retain it. The building was used as National Museum but all the artifacts were moved to other place inorder to allow renovation work.
Many effort currently are on point to ensure any injuries and damage workers are provided with safe care.
