Dreaming of an authentic African safari but short on time? A day trip to Mikumi National Park is the perfect adventure.

Although Mikumi is one of Tanzania's smaller national parks, it is home to an impressive variety of wildlife and offers an excellent opportunity to see 4 of the Big Five in their natural habitat. Lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, giraffes, zebras, hippos, wildebeest and countless other animals roam the vast open savannah.

Your adventure begins before sunrise with a hotel pick-up. For your comfort, we recommend wearing lightweight clothing in neutral colours and avoiding bright colours. Clothes that cover your knees are also advisable, making the long game drive more comfortable on the jeep's leather seats.

The day before your safari, I'll send you the exact pick-up time. Your hotel can prepare a breakfast box for you, which you can enjoy at the airport or during the journey.

After a comfortable transfer to the airport, you'll board a small aircraft for a spectacular 50-minute flight to Mikumi. You'll land right inside the national park, where your professional safari guide and open 4x4 safari vehicle will be waiting.

Spend the day exploring the African wilderness, stopping whenever incredible wildlife appears. A delicious buffet lunch is included, and unlimited bottled water is available throughout the safari.

As the sun begins to set, you'll fly back to Zanzibar on the same aircraft before being transferred comfortably to your hotel.

Last week I got a call asking me to visit somewhere because there was a surprise waiting for me...

When I arrived, I thought I couldn't believe my eyes!! Our teenage giraffe had a baby feiend. She's still very tiny, has a huge tendency to lick his horns and is very inquisitive!

Amikor megérkeztem, azt hittem nem hiszek a szememnek!! A tinédzser zsiráfunk kapott egy kisbabát. Nagyon pici még, óriás hajlamos vab a szarvacskáin és roppant érdeklődő! Mondhatnám, hogy Kíváncsi Fáncsi, de ő nem elefánt.😊
