Day 3 of Karibu Kilifair 2026 was a proud and memorable occasion as Uganda took center stage during the highly anticipated Uganda Day, organized by the Uganda Consulate in Arusha. πΊπ¬πΉπΏ
The celebration was highlighted by an inspiring address from Her Excellency Ambassador Anne Katusiime, who underscored the importance of strengthening tourism ties between Uganda and Tanzania. She noted that the future of East African tourism is built on partnership, with each destination offering unique experiences that collectively enhance the region's appeal from Uganda's iconic mountain gorillas to Tanzania's world-famous Serengeti migration and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.
The Uganda Tent attracted visitors, buyers, and exhibitors from across the expo, offering them a vibrant taste of the Pearl of Africa through captivating cultural performances, delicious Rolex tastings, Uganda Waragi experiences, and other authentic Ugandan attractions.
As part of the celebration, Zazu Africa Safaris did more than simply participate; it proudly showcased the beauty, diversity, and unmatched tourism experiences that Uganda has to offer. Through destination promotion, engagement with industry stakeholders, and sharing the story of the Pearl of Africa, Zazu Africa Safaris continued to position Uganda as a must-visit destination on the global tourism map.
Adding to the excitement, Uganda Airlines rewarded lucky participants with business class and economy tickets, alongside branded souvenirs including notebooks, pens, and water bottles.
It was a remarkable day of cultural exchange, destination marketing, networking, and regional collaboration, reaffirming the power of working together to grow East Africa's tourism industry.
