United Arab Emirates – Entry Requirement Update - Effective 15th December 2021 23:59 UAE LT and until further notice - passengers who are traveling from or who have been in Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania including Zanzibar, Uganda or Zambia in the last 14 days must comply with the following entry requirements:
· Present a VALID Negative Covid-19 Test certificate taken with 48 hours prior to departure from an approved health service who use QR code System; and
· Take a Rapid PCR test based on molecular diagnostic testing intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA; conducted at the departure airport six (6) hours prior of departure. The test result must display a readable QR code.
· Undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Dubai and Self-Quarantine until the negative test result is received.
Transit via a third country to Dubai
Passengers who transit via a third country from Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania including Zanzibar, Uganda or Zambia to enter Dubai must take the Rapid PCR test 6 hours in the last point of departure prior to entry into Dubai.
The test report that should be based on molecular diagnostic testing intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA and display a readable QR code.
Transit through Dubai
Passengers transiting via Dubai from Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania including Zanzibar, Uganda or Zambia must hold a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate taken 72 hours prior to departure and follow the entry requirements of any further transit of destination country. The test certificate must display a readable QR code.
If the validity of the PCR certificate is different in the country you are departing from or travelling to, you should follow the requirement which is most restrictive.
