The lifespan of a mountain gorilla is approximately 40 to 50 years old. Male gorillas are generally considered mature around the age of 15 when they begin to breed.

Great news from the Bwindi Impenetrable. yet another baby birth. The new born was observed in Kutu family named after the silver back of the group located in southern sector at Rushaga.

The family is relatively new. The baby was born on 21st October 2020. This is the second baby from this adult female. This now brings the group composition to to 11 members. Hats 🎩 for Bwindi 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 incredible things happening in the wild.
