🦏 THE RHINOS ARE BACK — AND SO IS OUR DREAM

When we chose the Rhino as the logo of Dunia Tours and Travels, it was not just for its strength, but also for its story.

For decades, Rhinos once roamed freely around what is now known as Rhino Camp and Ajai Wildlife Reserve. Sadly, they disappeared due to poaching and conflict. But the name Rhino Camp remained, carrying the memory and the hope that one day, they would return.

Today, that hope has become reality.

The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has officially restocked Rhinos in Ajai Wildlife Reserve, bringing this powerful species back to its rightful home.

For us, this is more than conservation news; it is personal. Our logo was born from this dream. Seeing Rhinos return means our story has come full circle.

This milestone brings a healthier ecosystem, New opportunities for local communities, and a new eco-tourism destination for travelers.

At Dunia Tours and Travels, we are proud to be part of a future where wildlife, tourism, and communities grow together.

I was truly honored to be invited to join the M-LISADA backpacking team from 2019 to 2025. An inspiring initiative introduced in Uganda by Yves Baes, whose passion for transforming the lives of young people is remarkable.

We enjoyed a refreshing four-hour nature walk in Bule, and it was heartwarming to see how much the children have grown and how confidently they are pursuing their careers. The boat ride, the friendly competitions for both boys and girls, and the signature song “Webale abaana eee” made the day even more memorable.

It was an incredible experience, and I am deeply grateful to Yves Baes for inviting me to be part of this meaningful adventure.

Redefining Domestic Tourism in Rural Schools of Uganda!

After 55 years since its founding in 1970, Riki Primary School finally embarked on its first-ever educational trip, an unforgettable journey to Murchison Falls National Park, proudly organized by Dunia Tours and Travels.

A total of 54 Primary Seven candidates worked tirelessly to raise funds through community service, supported by their amazing parents and teachers.

From spotting elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and kobs 🐘🦒🦬 to witnessing the breathtaking Murchison and Uhuru Falls, every moment was filled with wonder and joy! 🌊✨

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the pupils, parents, and teachers, especially Mr. Baguma and Mr. Econi, for their dedication and teamwork. Special thanks to the City Education Officer of Arua City, Logiri Girls S.S., Hon. Millicent, Hon. Lameck, Uncle Yves, Uncle Emmanuel, my Dad, and our wonderful Dunia Tours and Travels team for making this historic experience possible. 💚

Together, we’re redefining domestic tourism and creating lasting memories for rural schoolchildren across Uganda.
