Grooming Structure in Patas monkeys:
Females often do most of the grooming, and they typically focus on close relatives and friends to build social cohesion. Infants are frequently groomed by adult females to remove parasites. While the goal is to remove ticks, this behavior is also a primary way for them to express affection and strengthen relationships within the troop.

Jackson's chameleon is sometimes called the 3-horned chameleon because males possess 3 brown horns: one on the nose (the rostral horn) and one above each superior orbital ridge above the eyes (preocular horns), somewhat reminiscent of the ceratopsid dinosaur genus Triceratops and females generally have no horns.

Most chameleons are oviparous, but Jackson's chameleon and several other highland species in the genus Trioceros are ovoviviparous, giving birth to offspring soon after they are ready to hatch from their egg sac. Eight to thirty live young are born after a five- to six-month gestation.

Buffalo wallowing is a crucial, learned, and mostly functional behavior where buffaloes roll in mud or water to thermoregulate, protect against biting insects, and maintain skin health. Due to having few sweat glands and dark, heat-absorbing skin, this behavior serves as a vital cooling mechanism and provides a protective mud barrier against parasites and sun.

The Serval (Leptailurus) is a unique African wild cat distinguished by having the longest legs relative to body size of any feline, functioning as a specialized "giraffe cat" of the grasslands. These along with their massive ears, allow them to jump over feet high and detect prey underground, boasting one of the highest hunting success rates.
