For the past several days Jim and I have been attending the Travel Leaders Edge Conference at the Ga***rd Resort and Conference Center in National Harbor, Virginia.

We have had an opportunity to meet with the top executives from many of our travel suppliers and get updated about all the latest new happenings in the travel industry.

There's plenty of time to play, too, and we've been doing our share of that too.

We saw the Musica leaving Durban for it's previous Voyage. Now it has returned to pick us up.

While in Durban we got to explore some of the local area and even take a day safari. Lots of fun here in South Africa.

Jim and I boarded MSC Musica this morning in Durban, South Africa for a 24 day cruise to Venice, Italy. It's my 99th cruise, and I'm still so excited.

We had a wonderful eight days in Durban before boarding.

Today our ship, Celebrity Eclipse stopped in MYKANOS. Fourteen years ago Jim and spent a few days here after his conference on the island of Kos. Today we took a city bus down to a beach on the other side of the island where our hotel was located. We couldn't even remember the name of the hotel or the beach, but we found them. Happy memories.

Our next adventure is Namibia, via Barcelona. We'll post photos. We expect it to be AWESOME. Then back to Barcelona for an Italy and Greek Isles cruise.

Oh my goodness. It seems like we just got home, and I need to start packing again for a top producer's retreat in the Dominican Republic. I thought that it might be cancelled because of the hurricanes, but I'm told that the resort only suffered minimal damage.

So it's a Riu resort. I'll tell you all about it on our return. We loved the last Riu that we stayed at in Cancun. Let's see how this one compares.

Spending the weekend at Amenia Island with family. We have an amazing condo at the beach. It's just a perfect place to chill out.

When we get home we have just three days to get ready for back to back cruises on the Anthem of the Seas. ..Bermuda, then Canada /New England. Can’t wait to do a Quantum class ship again.
