OK to all who have been following my long, lost luggage saga, today it came to an end. We flew back to Istanbul after our Oceania cruise, and not really expecting any positive results, we checked just to see, and here it is. They had it locked in a storage room there. It's in pretty tough shape with the front pocket zipper broken and a wheel missing. This had been the first trip, for this suitcase, so I felt sad, that it's damaged. However, the contents, although disheveled, were all in tact. So overall, I'm quite happy. Of course by now, I purchased so much along the way. I had packed enough for a month, now I probably have enough for two months.
Anyway, overall it's good news.
