Winter is here and all the leaves have fallen but a weekend getaway at our lakeside cabin is a good way to escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

We’ve just added a bigger fire ring for our guests who love being outdoors! Just build a fire and make some s’mores!

Or perhaps our indoorsy-type guests may just want to coop up inside and snuggle under a cozy blanket, sip some hot cocoa while reading a good book, play some fun board games or binge watch on a movie night with loved ones!

Either way, an East Texas holistay with us may just be what you need to decompress & recharge as you welcome the approaching new year ahead !

These photos were taken last summer. At this time, most of our trees’ leaves have fallen . I only wish fall foliage lasted a bit longer. But to be honest, I also love seeing dead leaves with yellow, orange and golden hues on the ground 🍁🍂🍁 However, the massive leaf clean-up to follow is another story 😳🙄😵
