Exploring Richmond, Virginia’s Black History: Must-See Spots in Jackson Ward 📍🌳🎨

I had a wonderful time on the “Rooted & Rising” tour (during the TBEX conference TBEX Events), led by renowned historian Gary L. Flowers Gary Flowers, where we learned about Richmond’s Black history and explored Jackson Ward, known as the original Black Wall Street and Harlem of the South.

Ashland, Virginia Day is a place where you can discover history, arts & culture, and great cuisine all in one trip! This small town, known as “The Center of the Universe” due to its central location in the state, is a must-see if you’re in the Richmond, Virginia area.
