This is the Hildebrandt's Starling, one of the gorgeous smaller birds of sub-Saharan Africa. They shine so radiantly in the sun! I hope you love this bird as much as I do! I photographed this one in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.

Wild dogs, or painted dogs, are an uncommon sighting on safari. I've had the best luck seeing them in Botswana. I love their "sattelite dish" ears! Available as a print, on puzzles, blankets, and much more; they make great gifts, too: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/23294549

These two wild dogs are part of a larger pack. We probably spent half an hour or more observing them as they mainly settled down to rest and walked around a bit. They're fascinating creatures, often mistaken for hyenas. They look a bit like German Shepherd

We got to see this amazing sunrise in Kruger National Park, South Africa! When you go on game drives, often, you have to start out before the crack of dawn for some excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The colors in the sky can be absolutely amazing!
