The ‘My Memory Boxes’ Story

A few years back (OK, maybe more than a few...) I started creating, crafting, decorating - whatever you may call it - wooden memory boxes as fun and unique gifts to give to friends and family. I started off mainly creating wedding and baby boxes for friends and these remain my most popular categories to this day. Once I had been doing this as a hobby for some time, I realized I had been getting a lot of positive feedback!! So, after a little encouragement and a lot of trust, I jumped in and opened my Etsy shop, My Memory Boxes! That was in 2011 and I haven’t looked back since.

Today I craft pre-made and custom-made boxes for all occasions. I’ve expanded my stock from the original wedding and baby memory boxes to now include categories such as school, graduation, pets, memorials, holidays, birthdays and more! I regularly create custom boxes to fit customers unique requests ! I have also decorated wooden trunks, storage boxes, jewelry boxes and clipboards!! I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Brian and have two lovely, grown-up girls, Emily and Audrey. We live on our 10-acre hobby farm that we share with our energetic pup, Koda and a smattering of chickens, turkeys and guinea hens. Life is always fun on the farm!
