Since yesterday's post was a testimonial from an adventurer who brought her daughter on the first event, we thought we'd mention how fun it is to bring a friend or family member! "I attended the first Unearthing Adventures today and it was so fun! The small group setting was comfortable and relaxed...The second activity was at Roots making a terrarium and was awesome. I had no idea this cool place was in Amarillo...The crafts were fun and even though I’m not artistic I enjoyed the bag decorating activity...This was such a fun way to spend the afternoon with my daughter and meet new people!"

If you have an eye for beauty and a spirit that loves a mini-adventure, this next event on October 10th was made for you!

Our Rt. 66 Photo Color Hunt turns our historic corridor into your personal art gallery. After grabbing a drink and picking your unique color assignment, we’ll head out to photograph the unexpected details, colors, and textures hiding in plain sight on 6th St.

We’ll wander the shops, click those phone apertures (lol) and then relax and enjoy a beautiful lunch where we’ll share our favorite shots from the afternoon.

Art, architecture, excellent food, and great company-all capped off with a delightful memento mailed to you afterward.
Who’s in? Tickets are $75 and going fast! DM to save your spot.

According to the internet today is International Coffee Day.

Does anyone out there drink coffee?

We're starting off our next event at one of our favorite, tiny bakeries. It's cute, it's clean, it's super friendly and it's on Rt. 66! We'll fuel up with COFFEE (or any other drink they offer) and get our color cards to inspire the rest of our afternoon on our photo hunt.

Get a ticket for yourself and meet new folks, or tell your friends and come together. Either way, we've got your social card filled. Our color hunt and lunch date's only $75 and we promise you'll be delightfully surprised by all the cool stuff you will discover on 6th street on October 10th (11am to 2pm).

Let's talk about this COLOR HUNT at our next event on October 10th...

You'll get an assigned color and wander the old Mother Road in search of that hue to photograph while you sip a coffee and meander leisurely on the street and through businesses.
Come on-just look at the DOORS you can photograph! There is literally inspiration EVERYWHERE.
No need for a special designer's eye-simply slow down enough to see the details in your surroundings.

Who doesn't need a chill day like that every once in a while?
Join us from 11 am to 2 pm and see what forces YOU to slow down and see the city through a new lens.
Tickets are $75 and include a fantastic lunch with other folks who want to slow their roll and take in all the colors ;) DM for all the info.

When was the last time you truly looked at Route 66?

It’s easy to forget that we have a 100 YEAR OLD road passing right through our city. We’re changing that on October 10th!

Join us for the Rt. 66 Photo Color Hunt- an intentional, creative afternoon where we use custom color cards to change how we look at Amarillo. We’ll grab a coffee, get a secret color assignment, and head out to capture the unexpected beauty hiding in plain sight.

After discovering all the lines, shapes and colors, we’ll duck into a hidden cafe that feels straight out of France to share our artistic finds over lunch. Plus, we'll mail a surprise memento directly to your house after the event to commemorate the day.

If you’ve been wanting to connect with fun, like-minded people who love design, exploring, and a good cup of coffee, this is your sign!

The Rt. 66 Photo Color Hunt is designed to let you socialize on your own terms. Move with the main group, pair up with a friend, or wander solo with your color card and map-whatever fits your vibe! Zoom in on your color while discovering local treasures on 6th st, then we'll all gather back together for lunch at a cafe so quaint you might not believe you’re in Amarillo! We’ll swap stories and share photos over fresh, delicious food.
Come for the photos, stay for the community. You might just walk away with a whole new group of friends.

Our next event includes a Photo Color Hunt!

Wait-are ya'll wondering what that actually is?
Oh, okay. Here's what we mean:

It's a creative photography walk where we'll draw color cards and then be inspired by those hues for the rest of the afternoon by searching for those targeted colors. Instead of just taking random photos during the day, our perspective will be guided by a specific color palette, unique to each person.

Here's one we did earlier this month. We had the color "terra cotta" to be inspired by. We had so much fun paying close attention to details on buildings, shop windows and in stores.
We're even curating a map with our favorite local stores to help inspire you!

October 10th is the date, from 11 am to 2 pm. We'll end the day with lunch at the CUTEST little cafe to share our photos!

Tickets are $75 and we PROMISE a fun and inspired time!
