I highly recommend staying at a Disney resort before your cruise and taking the Disney Cruise transportation!

They pick up your bags directly from your resort room and you don't have to worry about them until they are delivered to your stateroom. Plus, you can likely get an earlier port arrival time as you get to board when your shuttle arrives.
