Day 3 of our girls trip at Walt Disney World was spent at Magic Kingdom✨🏰

We set up our Lightning Lanes so well that we were able to sleep in and still accomplish everything we wanted without rope dropping.

Could we have squeezed in another show or a few smaller attractions? Probably. But that extra hour or two of sleep allowed us to enjoy a full day in the parks without feeling exhausted and stay through Happily Ever After. 🎆

One thing to keep in mind when traveling with a group is that you probably won’t be able to do everything, especially on a shorter trip. Instead, prioritize at least one must-do for each person and make sure those things happen. Everything else is just a bonus!

More importantly, these women are so special to me. It’s not always easy to find your people—the ones who embrace you exactly as you are and support all of your crazy ideas. I am so thankful for this time together and the memories we made.

Now the only question is… where are we going next? ✈️💕

Day 2 of our girls trip was definitely our longest park day! ☀️✨

When you’re working with only 3-day Park Hopper tickets, you either have to skip some attractions or prepare yourself for a long day and we chose the long day! 😉

We rope dropped Animal Kingdom since it opens and closes the earliest. By noon, we had completed all of the rides and shows we wanted to experience and hopped over to Epcot.

We enjoyed lunch at La Hacienda, knocked out a few attractions, and then headed back to the resort for an afternoon break.

After changing and freshening up, we went back to Epcot to enjoy the rest of World Showcase before taking advantage of Extended Evening Hours for deluxe resort guests. 🌙

It was a busy day, but we have set up our Lightning lanes nicely for our last day at Magic Kingdom so we will sleep in a little, we won’t rope drop but we probably won’t take a midday break.

🐘 Animal Kingdom Strategy When You Only Have a Half Day 🐘

If you’re staying at a Disney resort and have Early Entry, rope drop is the way to go! If Flight of Passage is a must-do, plan to be among the first guests through the gates. After riding, head straight to either Expedition Everest or Kilimanjaro Safaris.

If you’re purchasing Lightning Lanes, I would grab Flight of Passage, Safari, and Everest. This lets you skip the rope drop rush and enjoy a more relaxed morning.

Next, make your way to one of the earliest Festival of the Lion King shows—it’s one of the best shows at Walt Disney World and definitely worth your time!

And if Bluey is at the top of your list, be ready at 7:00 AM to join the virtual queue. It’s incredibly popular and spots can go fast!

With this strategy, you can experience some of Animal Kingdom’s biggest highlights and still be done by early afternoon.
