The Michigan Quarter Horse Association, Department of Animal Science at Michigan State University, and the Michigan 4-H Horse Program are partnering to provide a fun learning weekend centered around everything horses!!!

This year’s equestrian team completed their season finishing 3rd place in their division. Equestrians this year included returning students:Senior Elizabeth Bang (Huron), Juniors Audra Ambrozaitis (Skyline) and Sydney Aldrich
(Huron) and Sophomore Madeline Barkham (Huron).
New students to the team: Junior Taylor Rose (Skyline), Sophomore Eva York (Skyline)
and Freshman Hannah Singh (Skyline).This season Skyline dominated the over fences classes, with Maddie Barkham
(Huron) earning 1st place for all three meets as well as 1st place in Hunt Seat
Equitation and placings for Showmanships! Sydney Aldrich (Huron) earned a 2nd in
meet 2 and a 3rd place in meet 3 for Trail as well as several other top placings in
Showmanships, Equitation and Ranch Riding. Junior Audra Ambrozaitis (Skyline)
earned top placings each meet in Ranch Riding, Cloverleaf barrels, Speed/Action and
2-person relay with riding partner Maddie Barkham (Huron).
In their debut equestrian team season, Eva York (Skyline) got a 5th place for Hunt
Seat Equitation, Taylor Rose (Skyline) placing 3rd for flag race and earned 2 other
placings in gymkhana speed games! Our freshman Hannah Singh (Skyline),
competed in several classes across many disciplines with personal bests in barrels and
speed-action games. Way to go Hannah!
Finally, we will miss our senior Elizabeth Bang (Huron) who had a spectacular final
season with the team. She scored over 20 points for the team for each of the division
meets while scoring in all her events the last meet, 8 of 8 classes, including 2nd in Hunt
Seat ba****ck, 3rd in Over Fences and 2nd in Trail! !We will miss you Elizabeth!

The Skyline Equestrian Team is gearing up for the 2025 Season! We have four returning members: Sydney Aldrich, Audra Ambrozaitis, Maddie Barkham and Elizabeth Bank. And we have 3 new members: Taylor Rose, Eva York and Hannah Singh! Looking forward to some fun!
