A free weekend shuttle runs from Mitchell Field directly to the peony garden during peak bloom weekends in Ann Arbor, helping visitors skip the parking search and head straight to the flowers.

🚌 Shuttle service runs every 15–20 minutes from 10 AM–5 PM on:

• May 30–31
• June 6–7

🌸 Bloomcast Season 3, Episode 3 is here and the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden is getting very close to peak bloom.
Buds are everywhere, with more flowers opening every day. A few early bloomers are already putting on a show, but the biggest bloom weekend is still expected around the end of May.

Planning your visit? Early mornings, evenings, and weekday visits can be great times to experience the garden with a little more room to wander.

🚌 Free weekend shuttle service from overflow parking begins this weekend and will be available May 23–24, May 30–31, and June 6–7.

🌸 Bloomcast Season 3, Episode 3 has dropped… and the garden is so close to bursting into bloom.
There are buds everywhere right now at the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden in Ann Arbor, with more flowers opening every day. A few early bloomers are already showing off, but peak bloom is still expected around the end of May.
Translation: next weekend is looking very promising 👀

🌅 Pro tip: early mornings and evenings tend to be a little less crowded, and weekday visits can be a great way to experience the garden at a slower pace.

Bloomcast is back for season 3 and the first peonies in Ann Arbor are officially blooming.

The Peony Garden at Nichols Arboretum is one of the most historic peony gardens in the world, with nearly 800 plants and more than 10,000 blooms at peak season.

This week, Pe and Ony are reporting our very first bloomers of 2026.

Peak bloom is expected in late May into early June, so now’s the time to start planning your visit to the Ann Arbor peony garden.
