This winery in Ukraine is doing everything it can to help out. They are offering food and shelter to those escaping to Romania. In addition, they are acting as a conduit for donations to their local community. They are located just outside of Odessa. Show them love and support! This is Sandrone’s entry level Nebbiolo. But by no means is this an entry level wine. It is an exquisite example of the delicateness and beauty that Nebbiolo can achieve. Thank you to Nat at the Italian Market in Annapolis for having such an amazing selection of wines, including a gem like this!

This 2006 “Super Umbrian” by Tenuta Vitalonga is 80% Montepulciano and 20% Merlot. It has aged perfectly and is showing excellent right now.

This 2012 Vitovska by Azienda Agricola Skerk was an absolute beauty!!! Not only was it amazing on its own, but we paired it with lobster and the two together were just perfect!
