It wasn’t an easy day by any means but Stan, Wes, Kim and Mark don’t have little man syndrome so they rolled with it and put up 53 fish for their annual fish fry.

I tell everybody this on almost every guide trip. Kim will lay the hammer down on ya. She’s one of the best man or woman to ever step foot on my boat. She knocks the socks off us all on trips every year.

Who’s ready for some crank bait content!?!? I’m no crank bait god but I just have three generations of doing it on Lake Shelbyville. You can make it pretty simple or can get pretty detailed and really get it dialed in. Mike Baker has tons of videos and he’s a great role model for the sport. Check him out in the mean time for tips and tricks.

Here’s a trip with Cody and his dad. There wasn’t a minute that passed by on that trip that a rod wasn’t bent over. Similar year conditions as this year and we had a blown motor.

Talk about a vision and a dream. I was 26 years old with hardly any money when I bought my first guide boat and opened business. The boat motor blew up three months into it. I could have gave up (big shoutout to the parents for keeping my head in the game as I was devastated) but I put my head down pulling limits with a blown motor for a couple hundred bucks each trip to buy a new motor but hey that’s probably selfish. Talk about a vision and a dream. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do something. If you want it go get it and don’t care what anybody says or thinks bc someone always has something to say. Anyway hope you enjoyed that cup of motivation! I’m focused and I’m ready to make this summer a great summer for clients!

Memorial Day!
