For some reason, wintertime is not associated with a good time to take photos. Maybe it’s due to the crazy holiday season, or possibly because of the common misconception that winter photos are “ugly” (which couldn’t be further from the truth).

If you’re looking for modern and classy, or urban and edgy, or basically ANYTHING other than a green, or flowery backdrop, winter is just as great a time as any for photos. Throw on that cute jacket, some flowy layers, and an adorable scarf, hat, or mittens and you’re ready to go.

If you're looking to present yourself more professionally online, or simply looking for something nicer than a standard selfie for your online dating profile, this is probably for you. :) No stiff poses, no drab backgrounds, no artificial lighting.

These sessions are designed for the working professional who maybe needs a nice LinkedIn photo for networking, the tired mom who wants to look at photos of herself and feel beautiful, and anyone "single and ready to mingle" wanting to freshen up that Match.com profile picture. ;) Sessions will be $325 + tax and last about 20 minutes, and you'll receive six, fully retouched high resolution images for your use.

The lovely Joanna Ferree of Powder Me Pretty will be on-site providing professional makeup application for specific appointment times. Professional makeup for ladies is *highly encouraged* and must be booked in advance. Joanna is generously offering her makeup services at a group rate of $55 per application.

Wanted to put out a few feelers -- thinking of doing a "Headshot Day" on Saturday, October 17th (in Asheville).
