The "FLOW ZONE"
an Amazing ‘Interactive Kinetic Art Installation’ like no other. Our "Flow Zone" is a wonderful way to introduce people to the dance of flow-arts. It also provides an area for the already growing number of people involved in the flow arts to converge and connect with each other. We provide an array of flow
-tools (Hoops, Staff, Poi, and Rhythm Stix) for people to come try out at no cost to them and at their own leisure. We also provide approachable, and fun on the spot instruction for beginners for all of our flow-tools if they desire. We also offer a Fire Zone version of this kinetic art installation. . All of our Workshops are a hands on learning experience designed to meet each person where they are in their growth with flow/circus arts. We can start from the very beginning basic’s and go all the way up to advanced levels. Our instructors have had over 10 years experience with studying and teaching in their prospective fields. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, moderate passed, engaging learning experience that people can go away from feeling satisfied and excited about. hoops, staff’s, mats, etc.) Beginner Staff- Covering the basic’s of handling as well as concepts about movement with your staff. This workshop is designed for people that have never used a staff or are fairly unfamiliar with it and want to start spinning staff
Intermediate Staff- In this workshop we open up and explore deeper movement and flow with our staff. We also cover more contact-staff and trick linking. Recommended for people with some experience looking to grow their skills. Beginner Acro-Balance- Intro into basic body mechanics, and balancing techniques. In this workshop we will cover the ‘Celestial Sequence’ (a beginners form for acro-balance), as well as proper hand, feet placement. We will also be covering spotting techniques and safety measures. Intermediate Acro-Balance- Growing your acro skills. In this workshop we will be working on an array of different tricks, and moving between the tricks comfortably. We will also cover multi-person moves (3 or more people). Beginner Hoop- Covering basic’s of handling, moving with, and concepts with your hoop. This workshop is designed for people that have never hooped or are fairly unfamiliar with it and wants to start hooping. Advanced Hoop- Stepping it up a notch. We will cover some of the harder tricks out there as well as some expert movement concepts that enhance your personal style. Gaining solid awareness of your flow and how to begin to create your own tricks.
