Here’s what I recommend:
• Prep early. Winter weather hits fast, and so do delays.
• Download your airline’s app — it’s the quickest way to rebook if things get messy.
• Keep your phone charged and pack a portable charger so you’re never stuck with a dead battery.
• Have back-up plans ready, especially if you're traveling December 26–30 — one of the busiest travel windows of the entire year.
