🚗✨ Day 11 — Heading Home ✨🏰

All good vacations must eventually come to an end, and today was our travel day home.

We started the morning with a delicious breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. 🍳☕ It was the perfect way to enjoy one last Disney meal before hitting the road.

One of the most unique experiences of the entire trip came next—a very special visit to Cast Connections! 🎉 Thanks to Zach, we were lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of where Disney Cast Members can shop. It was such a fun and interesting experience, and something most guests never get the opportunity to see.

A huge thank you to Zach for sharing this special part of the Disney experience with us. We absolutely loved it! ❤️

Then it was time to begin the long drive home. 🚗

As we traveled back, we spent a lot of time talking about all the incredible memories we made over the past 11 days:

🏰✨ Day 10 — Four Parks, One Day! ✨🏰

Our last full day of vacation ended up being our busiest day yet! We challenged ourselves to visit all FOUR Walt Disney World parks in one day, and somehow we made it happen! 🎉

A huge shoutout to Chris, who served as our personal Uber driver for the morning. 🚗💙 We were very grateful to skip the buses and maximize our park time!

🌳 First Stop: Animal Kingdom

Since Disney resort guests get early entry, we started at Animal Kingdom and rope dropped Avatar Flight of Passage. It was the perfect way to start the day!

Next up:🎢 Expedition Everest📌 Some pin trading🦦 A stop to watch the adorable otters

Then it was off to Magic Kingdom! 🏰

🍳 Breakfast at Gaston's Tavern featuring the ham and Gruyère sandwiches and those famous cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately, there were no tables available, so we carried our breakfast over to Pinocchio Village Haus.

Our next stop was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Unfortunately, we got stuck on the ride for about 12 minutes right next to Sneezy. Hearing him almost sneeze on a constant loop was definitely not our favorite part of the day. 🤪

Thankfully, Disney took great care of everyone and provided a Lightning Lane for another attraction due to the inconvenience. ✨

The Magic Kingdom highlights continued:🌎 It's a Small World (perfect timing to escape a quick rain shower!)👻 Haunted Mansion🚂 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad🏴‍☠️ Pirates of the Caribbean🐦 Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room🍍 Dole Whip🥟 Spring rolls🚲 TRON Lightcycle / Run🚀 Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin — and we absolutely LOVE the updates!

At that point, Chris and Zach took a break, and Zach headed off to work the After Hours event at Magic Kingdom.

🎬 Next Stop: Hollywood Studios

The rest of us headed to Hollywood Studios where we squeezed in:

🛗 Tower of Terror🎸 Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (we're loving the Muppets updates!)🍦 An ice cream sandwich snack break⭐ Exploring Galaxy's Edge🧸 Toy Story Mania🍪 A Jack-Jack Num Num Cookie

Then it was time for park number four...

🌐 EPCOT

We rode the Skyliner over to EPCOT and arrived just in time to catch the nighttime spectacular. 🎆

Before the night ended, we experienced:🎵 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

At that point, Cody and I headed back to Disney's Contemporary Resort to rest up.

Meanwhile, Michael and Cali kept the adventure going with:🐭 Remy's Ratatouille Adventure🌍 Soarin'

Back at the resort, we were treated to one final magical surprise—watching the 11:30 PM Magic Kingdom fireworks from our room. 🎆✨

And to cap off an incredible day, we got to watch Auburn win their NCAA Baseball Regional! ⚾🧡💙

I also continued pin trading throughout the day as we hopped from park to park. It’s one of my favorite Disney traditions, and I found several great additions for my collection! ✨📌

Four parks. Countless rides. Great food. Amazing memories. The perfect way to spend our final full day of vacation. ❤️

Fireworks from Day 9

🏨✨ Day 9 — Moving Day & Disney Magic ✨🏰

Today we checked out of Surfside and made our way over to Disney's Contemporary Resort for the final part of our vacation! 💙

Originally, we planned to visit a water park, but we decided to change things up and spend the morning playing mini golf at Disney's Fantasia Gardens. ⛳ It was a fun and relaxing way to start the day before heading to our resort.

Once we arrived at the Contemporary, we unpacked, settled into our room, and took some time to relax and enjoy the resort. There is just something special about staying at a Disney resort, and the Contemporary never disappoints. 🏰✨

For dinner, we headed to Steakhouse 71, and WOW! 🤩 It was hands down one of the best meals of the entire trip. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic. If you're staying at the Contemporary or visiting Walt Disney World, I highly recommend adding Steakhouse 71 to your dining list. 🍽️🥩

To end the evening, we enjoyed one of the best views on property—watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks right from our balcony. 🎆✨ There is something truly magical about seeing the fireworks light up the sky while relaxing at your resort.

It was the perfect mix of relaxation, great food, and Disney magic as we begin the final chapter of our vacation. ❤️

🌟🎢 Day 8 — Epic Universe! 🎢🌟

Another early morning meant another quick stop to pick up Zach before heading off to Universal’s newest park, Epic Universe, for Early Park Admission! We were excited to finally spend a full day exploring everything this incredible park has to offer.

Our first stop was Super Nintendo World! 🍄⭐

We headed straight to Donkey Kong: Mine-Cart Madness using the single rider line since the standby wait was already 120 minutes! Then we raced through Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and spent time exploring the land with our Power-Up Bands, collecting coins and interacting with all the fun elements throughout the area. 🎮

Next, we ventured into Dark Universe. 🐺⚡

We rode Curse of the Werewolf and explored the land, but unfortunately Monsters Unchained was closed all day. We were really disappointed because it’s one of our favorite rides, and we had been looking forward to experiencing it again.

From there, we made our way to Celestial Park and took a ride on Stardust Racers. 🚀✨ It continues to be one of the most thrilling attractions in the park!

Next up was the beautiful Isle of Berk. 🐉

We grabbed the famous Mac & Cheese Cones for lunch and enjoyed them inside Mead Hall before riding Hiccup’s Wing Gliders. The entire land is so immersive and really brings the world of How to Train Your Dragon to life.

Then it was time to explore the Wizarding World’s Ministry of Magic. 🪄✨

We rode Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, but during the ride it unexpectedly broke down while Michael, Cali, and Cody were onboard! Thankfully, they were given a Fast Pass to use on any attraction later in the day. We spent some time exploring the incredible details throughout the land and watched Le Cirque Arcanus, which was a fantastic show.

Before wrapping up the day, we grabbed dinner at Toadstool Cafe 🍄 and then spent the evening enjoying a few more favorites, including another ride on Stardust Racers and a relaxing ride on Yoshi’s Adventure.

The fun didn’t stop when Epic Universe closed! 🌙✨ We headed over to Disney Springs for some evening shopping and snacks.

We explored:

🍫 Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop
📌 Disney’s Pin Traders
🛍️ World of Disney

And of course, no visit to Disney Springs would be complete without grabbing some delicious poutine! 🍟😋 It was the perfect way to end another action-packed day.

Epic Universe is absolutely stunning, and we had an amazing day exploring all of the different worlds. While we were sad to miss Monsters Unchained, there was still so much to see and do that we had a fantastic time.

Tomorrow we say goodbye to Universal and head over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for the next chapter of our vacation! 🏰✨

🎢✨ Day 7 — Universal Orlando Adventure! ✨🎢

What a day! We started bright and early by picking up our cousin Zach, who is currently participating in the Disney College Program. It was extra special getting to spend the day together and experience the parks through the eyes of first-time visitors! 💙

We kicked off the morning with Early Park Admission at Islands of Adventure and hit the ground running:

🎢 Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (single rider line)
🏰 Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
🦖 VelociCoaster
🕷️ The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

After all that excitement, we took a quick breakfast snack break with some Auntie Anne’s pretzels. 🥨

Then it was back to the rides:
💚 The Incredible Hulk Coaster
🪵 Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls
💦 Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges

We stopped for lunch at Cosmic Comic Café before boarding the Hogwarts Express from Hogsmeade to Universal Studios Florida. 🚂✨

Once in Universal Studios, we continued the adventure:
🏦 Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
🍬 Treats from Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop
🍺 Finally tried Butterbeer
👽 MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack
🍩 The Simpsons Ride
🤖 Transformers: The Ride-3D
🧟 Revenge of the Mummy

Overall, it was an incredibly successful and fun day, especially for Cali and Zach’s first visit to Universal Orlando! Seeing their reactions made the day even more memorable. ❤️

One interesting observation: just a month ago I visited these parks without Express Pass and had no trouble getting everything done. Today was a completely different story. The Express Pass was an absolute MUST and saved us so much time waiting in lines. If you’re planning a visit during a busy time, it’s definitely worth considering!

On our way back to the hotel, we made one final stop at Voodoo Doughnut for some delicious donuts 🍩 and were treated to a beautiful rainbow across the sky. 🌈 It was the perfect way to end an amazing day.

Now it’s time to get some rest because tomorrow we’re heading to Epic Universe! 🌟🎢 We can’t wait to experience Universal’s newest park and see what all the excitement is about. Stay tuned for Day 8 adventures!
