🚗✨ Day 6 — Debarkation Day ✨🚢

This morning we said goodbye to the beautiful Disney Destiny after an incredible cruise full of memories, amazing food, fun activities, and so much magic. 💙

After getting off the ship, we made the drive over to Universal Orlando Resort and checked into Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites. 🏨☀️

The rest of the afternoon was all about relaxing and recharging after a busy cruise week.

For dinner, we headed to the amazing The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen — and it definitely did not disappoint! 🍫🍔 The atmosphere there is so unique and the food and desserts are always a fun experience.

Tonight will be an early bedtime because tomorrow is our first park day at Universal! 🎢✨

🏝️☀️ Day 5 aboard the Disney Destiny brought us to the beautiful Disney Castaway Cay! 🌊✨

We started the morning with breakfast at Marceline Market before heading off for a relaxing beach day. 🍳☕🏖️

Having a cabana is SUCH a great way to enjoy Castaway Cay! It gave us the perfect place to relax and cool off throughout the day. One tip though — the tide was very low, so I would definitely suggest choosing a cabana closer to the beginning of the cabana area. We were toward the end and barely had any water near us, but honestly everyone still had a fantastic day enjoying the beach and sunshine. ☀️🌴

We made it back onto the ship in time to ride the AquaMouse TWICE! 🚢💦 It is such a fun attraction and yes… you WILL get soaked! 😂

After some time packing and grabbing our final bracelet charm, we headed to another delicious dinner at Worlds of Marvel. 🦸‍♂️✨

The evening included:
🏓 More ping pong fun
🎬 Watching a movie in our room
📸 Late-night exploring around the ship to take pictures while almost everyone else was asleep — such a cool way to experience the ship in a totally different atmosphere

Tomorrow we say goodbye to the ship and head to Universal Orlando Resort for the next part of our adventure! 🎢✨

Overall, this cruise was absolutely amazing and everyone had such a fantastic time. So many memories were made that we’ll never forget! 💙🚢🌴

Disney Cruise Line announced a new reminder regarding guest door decorations onboard

✨ Guests may decorate:
• Stateroom DOORS only

⚠️ Decorations are NOT permitted on:
• Hallway walls
• Hallway ceilings

Disney also confirmed that all decorations must continue following existing safety guidelines.

🌊✨ Day 4 aboard the Disney Destiny was another fun-filled day at sea! 🚢💙

We started the day by adding another charm to our bracelets — such a fun keepsake from the cruise! ✨

Then came some exciting raffle luck again… this time Michael won a beautiful Swarovski crystal necklace! 💎🎉 We may not have had luck at bingo (we played TWICE and still no win 😂), but the raffles were definitely on our side this cruise!

One of the biggest highlights of the day was watching the Broadway-style Hercules show, which was absolutely incredible. 🎭⚡ Disney entertainment never disappoints!

We also did the chocolate and liquor tasting at De Vil’s, which was delicious and so much fun. 🍫🥃

The rest of the day was spent exploring more of the ship and enjoying all the little experiences onboard, including:
🍦 An ice cream treat from Edna À La Mode
🏓 Ping pong in Hero Zone
🦸 Marvel trivia in the Sanctum
👻 A visit to the Haunted Mansion Parlor

Dinner at 1923 was another great meal before heading off to even more nighttime fun. 🍽️✨

We also checked out the Cruella de Vil fashion show, which was such a unique and entertaining experience! 🖤🤍❤️

To wrap up the night, we headed to Saga for 90s music trivia, and it ended up being one of the most fun activities of the evening! 🎶🎤

Another amazing sea day full of laughs, food, entertainment, and memories we’ll never forget. 💙✨

🏝️☀️ Day 3 aboard the Disney Destiny brought our first port day adventure in Cozumel! 🚢🌴

We started the morning with breakfast at 1923, and Cody’s favorite was definitely the peanut butter and jelly pancake. 🥞💙

Once we arrived in Cozumel, we spent some time shopping and exploring before heading back to the ship. It was HOT out there, so getting back onboard and cooling off felt amazing! ☀️🥵🛍️

Afterward, we relaxed at the Senses Spa, which was such a nice break during the day. Chris’ favorite part was definitely the cold room! ❄️🧖‍♂️

Dinner and the show at Pride Lands was another fantastic experience with great food and entertainment. 🎭🍽️

Then it was time for an outfit change because it was PIRATE NIGHT! 🏴‍☠️✨ Between the themed fun, the atmosphere around the ship, and the fireworks at sea, it made for such a memorable evening. 🎆

Of course, we couldn’t end the night early… we stayed up late again to watch the new The Mandalorian and Grogu movie! 🍿🌌

Another amazing day full of fun, relaxation, and memories with the family! 💙

☀️🚢 Day 2 aboard the Disney Destiny was a perfect relaxing day at sea filled with so many fun memories! 💙✨

We started the day with the DVC Member Celebration and even got a special visit from Minnie Mouse! 🎀 It was such a fun event for Disney Vacation Club members.

Next up was Palo brunch… and WOW. 🍽️ If you’ve never done Palo on a Disney cruise, it is absolutely worth it. While waiting for our reservation, we spent some time at the beautiful Rose & Crown bar, which was the perfect relaxing spot to enjoy the atmosphere before brunch.

One of the coolest moments of the day was sailing by Cuba and catching those views from the ship. 🌊

We also watched the adorable Little Heroes Baby Race, which was hilarious and such a fun family activity! 👶🏁

Later, we headed to the tequila and margarita tasting at De Vil’s where we learned some really interesting facts while sampling different drinks. 🍹 It was a lot of fun and definitely one of the highlights of the day!

Another fun bonus onboard was getting a free charm and charm bracelet! ✨ Each day you can earn a new charm after listening to tips on jewelry shopping, and they also held a raffle where Cali won TWO beautiful pieces of jewelry! 💎🎉 Such an exciting surprise!

Dinner at Worlds of Marvel was another great experience with delicious food and interactive entertainment. 🦸‍♂️✨

The evening was packed with activities:
🏈 Sports trivia
🎬 Decades music trivia
🎟️ Bingo — and I was ONE number away from winning! (“Shake it up Betty!” 😂)

We also met Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse and got their autographs, which made for such a magical memory. ✨📸

To finish off the night, we headed to the Wonderland Cinema to watch The Devil Wears Prada 2. 🎥🍿

Lots of fun memories were made today and we’re excited for what Day 3 brings! 🌴☀️

✨ Day 1 aboard the Disney Destiny is officially in the books and what an amazing first day it was! 🚢💙

First impressions… this ship is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! ✨ From the décor to the atmosphere, Disney really outdid themselves.

As soon as we boarded, we headed to Pride Lands Restaurant for lunch and I HIGHLY recommend doing this instead of going straight to the buffet. 🍽️ The restaurant was much less crowded, we had excellent service, and it was so nice not having to fight for a table after boarding. Such a relaxing way to start vacation!

We also got our stateroom door decorated with the awesome banners my husband Chris made for us, and Guest Services was absolutely amazing in helping us out. 👏💙

Then it was time for the Sail Away Party! 🎉 Nothing says vacation mode quite like music, dancing, and that first blast of the ship horn.

After unpacking and settling in, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at 1923 before jumping into some onboard fun:
🎶 80s music trivia
🎾 A game of Fetch
🎤 Family karaoke — and the biggest surprise of the night was Cody getting up to sing!

We also watched “Disney Seas the Adventure,” the Broadway-style stage show, and it was such a fun way to kick off the cruise entertainment lineup. ✨🎭

To end the night, we cozied up in our room watching Incredibles 2 with a late-night room service snack. 🍕🍪

Now it’s time for Day 2 adventures! Stay tuned because this trip is already off to an incredible start. ✨🌴
