One thing about black folks, especially from Atlanta… we’re gonna find each other ANYWHERE! 😂🖤

We randomly ended up at a viral soul food spot in Tokyo, met people from Atlanta, chopped it up with the owner (also from ATL), the mac & cheese pull went crazy and my mom mentioned she wish she had ordered the greens, so the owner packed her some to go 🥹🥹

Travel always reminds me the world is huge but somehow still feels small.

Any other business owners struggle with collecting reviews? 😅 I always ask… and I might get one or two.

Then I realized something… the best ones never get posted. They live in the WhatsApp messages after the trip. The “did everyone make it home safely?” check-ins. The group chats still going long after the planes land. The photos shared long after bags are unpacked. The Instagram follows and Facebook friend requests.

Because that tells me this wasn’t just a random group of people who boarded a plane together.

These were strangers who became friends. And in some cases, family. 🩵
And that is the experience I work to curate. Not just sightseeing and walking tours, but connection and unforgettable journeys.
