Costa Rica is the perfect place for a family vacation!!
Walking on hanging bridges in the rainforest, spotting monkeys and sloths in the wild, surfing lessons, volcano hikes…there’s so much adventure, but still plenty of chill time on the beach too. 🏝️

Ok I have to admit…for the longest time I thought Cinco de Mayo was a celebration of Mexico’s Independence 🇲🇽

Eventually I discovered that it’s actually the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, when on May 5, 1862 a small Mexican Army defeated a much larger French Army. Interestingly enough, Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more widely in America than Mexico.

If you’re ever in Mexico during Cinco de Mayo, head to Puebla. There you’ll find a reenactment of this historic battle, as well as a parade and other festivities.

Have a great Cinco de Mayo!! Enjoy some delicious Mexican food…and of course a margarita!! 🌮🌯🍹
